Overview

I am studying ecological and evolutionary processes occurring on islands in the Bahamas.  My current research projects are on the effects of seaweed deposition on the structure and dynamics of island food webs, and the ecological and evolutionary effects of top predators on their prey and other species in lower trophic levels (see Research).

I teach two courses at UC Davis: Introduction to Evolution (EVE 100) and Introduction to Ecology (EVE 101).  These courses cover a wide range of topics in ecology and evolutionary biology (see Courses)
